ADVANCE YOUR CAREER
As part of ABX Air, you will fly well maintained Boeing 767 cargo aircraft for leading e-commerce and express customers. With e-commerce growing more than 10% a year, now is an exciting time to join this growth industry.
TRAINING
Your journey to become a type rated Boeing 767 first officer begins at Airborne Training Services in Wilmington, Ohio for approximately eight weeks. You'll have three weeks of ground school followed by fixed-based simulator instruction. Full-motion simulator instruction is then conducted in Wilmington with a Level C Boeing 767 simulator or at other facilities throughout the United States.
After your proficiency check, you will begin approximately three weeks of initial operating experience in the line environment. Once you have successfully completed training, you will be a fully qualified and type rated Boeing 767 first officer with ETOPS certification.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Unrestricted ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) Rating with an Airplane category multi-engine class rating and English proficiency endorsement
- 1,500 hours total fixed-wing flying time
- First Class Medical
- Current passport with 2 years validity remaining and no restrictions on international travel
- College degree preferred
