ABX AIR EMPLOYEES RECOGNIZED BY UNITED WAY
Newell, McElwee thanked for their contributions

WILMINGTON, Ohio - March 8, 2007 - ABX Air (NASDAQ:ABXA) - Two ABX Air employees earned recognition from the United Way at their recent awards dinner for their contributions in 2006. Jim Newell and Ricky McElwee received Certificates of Appreciation.

“Jim spearheaded a fantastic project at the Clinton County Youth Council as part of the Leadership Clinton Class project,” said Barb Becker, Director of the United Way of Clinton County. “They timed it to be part of the Day of Caring/Make a Difference Day activities and made an incredible difference for the students who use the facility.”

Newell and his Leadership Clinton team members recruited within their companies and each group chose a project. The Newell team from ABX Air spent the week tearing down walls, repainting, carpeting and more to create a user friendly computer area at the Youth Council. Approximately 25 volunteers were involved in that project that created the room, furnished it and got the computers ready to go.

“Then, as if they had not done enough, on Saturday, some of the group spend the day at Lilliput Daycare Workshop sanding and painting furniture… a lot of furniture,” added Becker.

Newell will be one of the representatives of the 2006 Leadership Clinton Class recognized in Columbus on March 13 for conducting one of the top 10 Make a Difference Day projects in Ohio.

McElwee spent his time at the United Way Office chasing worms – computer virus worms, that is.
“Ricky spent several hours finding the problem and then getting our system up and running for us again,” Becker said.
