ABX SENDING GOODS TO TROOPS IN KUWAIT

WILMINGTON, Ohio - Dec. 30, 2005 - ABX Air, Inc., (NASDAQ:ABXA) is pleased to announce an upcoming opportunity to send freight to our troops in Kuwait.

The American Legion Post 49 in Wilmington has agreed to accept donations that will then be picked up, loaded, and shipped by ABX in early January.

Personal hygiene items such as baby wipes, travel-sized soaps and shampoo, and non-perishable snacks are recommended, though money for the purchase of needed items also may be donated. Keep in mind that aerosol products cannot be shipped.

Collection times at the American Legion at 140 E. Locust Street, in Wilmington are:

• Sat., Dec. 31 from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.;
• Sun. Jan. 1 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.;
• Mon. Jan. 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and
• Tue. Jan. 3 from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
