ABX AIR EARNS DIAMOND AWARD FROM FAA Wilmington, OH – July 29, 2004 – ABX Air, Inc., earned
the Diamond Award from the FAA for training completed in 2003.
The Diamond Award is the highest award the FAA presents in its
FAA Aviation Maintenance Technicians Awards Program. |

“We are proud to receive this recognition,” said Terry Scherz, Vice President of Aircraft Maintenance. “This is the second consecutive year ABX Air has earned the Diamond Award.” To meet the Diamond Award requirements, more than 25 percent of Aircraft Maintenance technicians must participate in the FAA program. ABX Air had over 50 percent of technicians – nearly 700 – earn awards in the program. |

Efrain Arroyo, manager of the Detroit Flight Standards FAA District Office, congratulated the award winners during the presentation. “It is a pleasure to see all the good work you are doing at ABX.” ABX Air is a cargo airline with a fleet of 115 aircraft that operates out of Wilmington, Ohio, and 11 hubs throughout the United States.
