Sherri, the main designer of the logo, earn the Silver Quill
Award of Merit,” said Mary Ellen Diersing, Manager of Training
and Communications for ABX Air.
The logo design also earned the Bronze Quill Award of Excellence. A Benefits Xtra, a publication highlighting ABX Air benefits information, earned a Silver Quill Award of Merit. “This publication keeps our employees up to date on the latest developments and best practices in use of their benefits,” said Krazl. “Much of the content is developed by Jeff Walling, Benefits Manager, and members of the Benefits Department, then I complete the layout and design work for it.” According to the IABC/Dayton chapter, there were more than 60 “outstanding” entries for this year’s competition. This year’s entries represented nearly every aspect of communications with the winning entries reflecting the Dayton area’s outstanding accomplishments in planning, execution and measurement.
