Maintenance Training
The ABX Air Maintenance Training Department offers a complete training program for the B767, DC8 and DC9 aircraft as well as many general subjects. Please ask about the availability of training for other type of aircraft. Training is available for all aircraft subjects, including engines, avionics, inspection, and troubleshooting. Our training reflects many years of aircraft maintenance experience and is focused on the needs of the aircraft maintenance technician. All aircraft courses are based on a forty-hour Initial class, a forty-hour Proficiency class and a forty-hour Avionics class.
We have well over a hundred courses to offer, including the following general subjects:
- Human Factors (2 Hours)
- FAA Personal Minimums (2 Hours)
- Basic Electrical (40 Hours)
- General Refresher (16 Hours)
- and many more!
We can provide a complete program, we can "mix and match" or we can develop custom training to meet your individual needs. Training program development is based on ATA Specification 104 and established Instructional System Design (ISD) concepts.
