The Mechanical Shop at ABX Air offers full-service maintenance of mechanical accessories, hydraulic components, equipment and furnishings, and electro-mechanical components.
Mechanical Shop Highlights
- Skydrol and 5606 testing capabilities up to 5000 and 3000 PSI.
- DC9, DC8, B767 Cockpit and crew seat repair and overhaul.
- Life support equipment and evacuation slides.
- Repair of DC9, DC8, B767 Push/Pull type cylinders and valves, DC8 aileron packs, DC9 rudder PCU’s, DC9 spoiler actuators, and Accumulators.
- MD80 Engine Isolator Systems.
- Pneumatic valves up to 300 PSI with 17 cu. ft. per minute flow rates.
- Damper assemblies for control surfaces and landing gear, slat drivers, Q-limiters, APU combustors.
- A variety of MLG door latches, engine mounts, and other links and fittings.
